HALF PRICE Bravado nursing bras! Hurray!

Just checked out the thread about the figleaves sale website here. Turns out that they not only stock Bravado nursing bras, which are fantastic, but they are half price. I have just ordered a black double plus. My cup floweth over.
(the sizing looks really weird on the website, by the way, but if you click on a size then they will write underneath all the GB cup sizes that it corresponds to)

I want to take advantage of this - but I'm only 28 weeks. If I'm already 38C/D now (from 36C before) is it safe to assume that 40D/E will prob be ok size-wise? I know there's no real way of knowing, but I will be at least D won't I, if I'm C/D now? And does your chest keep expanding during pregnancy, or is it just cup size with breastfeeding?
Thanks x

Your chest goes up right at the end, but goes down again really quickly once you don't have a baby fighting to get up into your ribs. Your cup size will change quite a bit in the early days when you're breastfeeding, which is why I like Bravado bras for then - each bra is designed to fit lots of different sizes.

Am I the only one whose boobs INCREASED at 3 months?

Thanks for tip. Save me from getting used Bravados on ebay. My DP is HORRIFIED that I am thinking about getting used bras.

cheerfulvicky · 19/06/2008 21:56

Haha, the MumsNet hoardes have been and gone - the ones I want are all sold out Do you think they will get more in? Hope so!

Why are Bravado bras so good, btw? I'm a nursing bra novice...

MrsTittleMouse · 20/06/2008 11:57

They're perfect hospital bras, as they are really comfortable and forgiving in size. So when you don't know what size you'll be and when you're changing size every minute they're just what you want. When I have settled down I prefer a more structured bra (I was an H cup last time!), but I still use my Bravado to sleep in (again, because they're so comfy).

Thanks for this tip - I'm only 32 weeks tomorrow with my first, but made a guess at what size I'll be (went for one or 2 cups sizes bigger than now and one back size smaller - who knows?!), but at £7.20 I figured it was no harm (plus it's bound to fit me at some stage isn't it?).

Anyway, many thanks

LadyOfWaffle · 20/06/2008 14:26

Oh excellent - hope they do my size! For larger norkers Mothercare have Panache (?) bras down to £15 each and they go quite big (well, they do my 38 g )

LadyOfWaffle · 20/06/2008 14:39

Tedious but check out other brands of nursing bras - Royce have one in a few sizes also.

JudyJones · 06/07/2008 22:20

Not sure, but at a glance looks like there might be some more cheapie Bravado bras available on Figleaves clearance site - definitely seems to be more sizes avilable than when I looked a couple of weeks ago...
