LH high but negative HCG day period is due

I didn’t know what subject to put this under but has anyone seen anything like this?

I am CD29 of usually 28/29 day cycles. This month I had period pains and cramps on CD25/26/27 I then had back ache but no cramps on CD28 and today I’m CD29 and don’t have much but a gassy feeling in my belly and extremely subtle period type feeling.

I’ve been getting high LH results for 5 days but last 2 days they have become really strong but getting completely negative HCG tests.

im not sure what DPO I am as i ran out of tests and missed 2 days testing so I either peaked CD16/17

any clue as to what’s happening with my tests 🙈

I think there is two options here.

First, Lh does rise before you get your period, so it could just be rising due to that.

Second, your body tried to ovulate on CD 16/17 but didn’t manage to and so now is trying again! In which case, get busy quick! (assuming you are ttc of course!)
