Hi everyone, I’m really anxious and could do with some reassurance or similar experiences.
I had an early pregnancy scan on Monday and was told I’m measuring around 5 + 1/2 weeks. Based on my LMP I should of been 7, but I think I ovulated later and calculated I would of been 6. The scan showed normal healthy looking gestational sac in uterus, yolk sac and possible tiny fetal pole (CRL measuring 1.6mm)
They said it might just be too early to see more, but what’s worrying me is they also mentioned a 3cm cyst on my ovary, “multiple anechoic areas” (they described them as pools of blood and said could be implantation bleeding) but they couldn’t completely rule out a partial molar pregnancy
On the scan I saw what looked like several black areas (not neat circles, more scattered), and now I can’t stop worrying if it is bleeding or if it is molar?
I haven’t had any spotting or bleeding at all, and I do have pregnancy symptoms (constant nausea and very sore boobs), which seem to be increasing.
I’ve been referred back to EPU and have another scan in a week, but I’m terrified I’ll go back and either not see a heartbeat or be told something is wrong.
Has anyone had anything similar with being told molar pregnancy couldn't be ruled out and then things turned out okay?
