Maternity clothes recommendations

I’m 8 weeks and starting to get close to needing some maternity basics.

Where can I get decent leggings from that are absolutely not see-through? Should I just size up from somewhere cheaper like Primark until I have a significant bump? I’m just so uncomfortable in my jeans and I can’t go everywhere in joggers!

I’m also really nauseous so I’m not loving wearing a bra at the moment or anything too tight.

Any recommendations or advice gladly received!

I had leggings from Seraphine and Love Leggings, both opaque. The Love Leggings ones were thermal so thicker. I have heard good things about Frugi leggings but they weren't available in my size.

CRZ leggings were my go to! They have yoga pants too and so so so buttery soft 🤩.

For other stuff I just bought on Vinted and then re-sold once I'd given birth!

If you can afford the initial outlay then the Lululemon Super High-Rise Align leggings have served me amazingly throughout pregnancy. Still in them at 37 weeks! Buttery soft and not at all see-through. Really worth the money and not even maternity!

I was also going to say CRZ yoga leggings!

I've had a pair of their non maternity leggings for two years and they've been just as good (if not better, no bobbling) as my expensive sweaty bettys before them.

Planning to get some for this pregnancy now that they do maternity versions and they have cycling shorts too which I live in during the summer

Thanks for the recommendations so far, I’ll have a look at them

Edited

Definitely agree - bit painful for the initial investment but will last a lot longer (after pregnancy) than cheaper versions that you'll end up buying multiple of.

I’ve been living in these https://vuoriclothing.co.uk/products/womens-halo-easy-wideleg-pant-cerise
Got my normal size and one size up. Very stretchy so normal size fine into second trimester and size up should be comfy through most of third. Better than the proper maternity leggings I got and will be great for post partum as well.

Tops so far just been wearing the larger things I already had plus a couple of basics I’ve bought one size up.
