I had a 4d scan 2 weeks ago at 26 weeks the cord was around the neck the sonographer confirmed it but didnt seem to be worried
i wasnt sure if to mention it to my mw or not at my next app on monday.
Anyway ive just googled it and now im scared myself and worried the baby will strangle itself.
Would the sonographer have said i should have more tests to check if the cord has moved of am i worring over nothing?

bumping for you

I don't think it is a problem now - the baby won't strangle itself in utero - it may only possibly be a problem during birth. I imagine the cord can get wrapped (and unwrapped again) around a baby's neck at any time in pregnancy. See what your mw says.

This happened to me after having a 3D scan at 30 weeks! i was so worried, but all was fine.

Infact, if you look in my profile pics there is a couple of piccies of my scan on there and you can see the cord around his neck.
