I had a miscarriage 38 days ago at around 4 weeks (test turned negative pretty quickly) I've just taken a test this morning after feeling a little sick which is unusual for me at this time, it's positive ( faint, but there).

I am absolutely scared. I'm so so so scared. Has anyone had a healthy pregnancy straight after miscarriage? Is there anything I need to do? Any help or sharing your simular stories would be appreciated 🙏

I got pregnant again after my first period following a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks.
In the early days, I had spotting and was convinced I was miscarrying again. The EPU did regularly blood checks on my HCG levels but I was told they weren't "doubling" as they were supposed to but the HCG levels were increasing.
The pregnancy was healthy and successful - he's now a very healthy and magnificent 10 year old - it can happen. I remember feeling terrified too. There is absolutely nothing that you need to do. I would say try not to worry, take things as they come but I know first hand how difficult that is.
I wish you all the best OP!

I had a miscarriage in the April, when I would only have been about 6 weeks. I got pregnant immediately afterwards and had the baby in the January of the following year. He’s 26 years old now.

I know people will say it’s not ideal but years ago, women didn’t track their cycles or anything.

Congratulations.

Yup, miscarried at 9 weeks, fell pregnant again immediately. Currently have a teenager. So don’t worry OP it can all be plain sailing from here.

Hi OP, I know it’s a scary time and really nothing with ease your nerves 💚 I had a miscarriage in October, and then fell pregnant again without a period in between in November. I’m now 24 weeks pregnant xx

Omg I bet you was a nervous wreck also, is everything going smoothly? How did they date your new pregnancy? Thank you hoping for a sticky baby 😓💓

I’ve had four miscarriages. Three in a row followed by a healthy DS. Then another last April (conceived in March) - I was pregnant again in June and had a healthy DD five weeks ago. You are often more fertile immediately after a miscarriage. Good luck!

Gosh I bet that was really hard and upsetting for you. I bet your two children make all the pain worth it. Than you X

I hope it all goes really well for you too!!

I had been tracking ovulation so we went with my ovulation date minus 14 days as an estimate but I also had some early scans (7w & 9w) to confirm dates before the official 12w scan.

So far everything has been really smooth! Long may it continue 💚

Sorry forgot to update the thread. Think it was a chemical. I'm 3dpo now on my new cycle. 🤞

I’m sorry to hear of your chemicals. I had one in November and one in January and am now 14 weeks pregnant! A doctor kindly agreed to check my iron after my second and I was horrifically anaemic and ferrous sulphate seems to have made all the difference. I also had two friends that bought an iron tests from Boots after my issue, and both were anaemic and both are now pregnant again after other chemicals too. So, it may be a complete coincidence but from mine and friends experience I’d get an iron test. Good luck and I hope you have a sticky successful pregnancy really soon

It's just so frustrating to think 'this is it' for it to be taken away, yet again! I will definitely have that iron test.

Thank you, I hope so too.

Wishing you a smooth rest of your pregnancy ❤️

It is so hard. I’m 14 weeks now and still won’t get excited, even though the other two were chemicals, so this is completely different, I have a 1 year old daughter and had absolute no anxiety with her. I hope this is your month and you’re super sticky! Please let us know xx

I will probably be the same if it happens for me. Probably be on pins the whole pregnancy 🙄 I lost my little boy at 15 weeks on the 19th March last year, can't catch a break!!!

I will definitely let you know, probably be testing at 7dpo 😅😅😅X

Oh I’m so sorry! Obviously chemicals are awful, but later on must just be horrific. Fingers crossed you get your miracle baby soon. Yup 7dpo and staring at tests under every light in your house, despite knowing nothing could be there. I think the most I’ve done in one day was 13! Xx

Omg stop it you sound like me. Take another test after an hour thinking it's going to change 😅😅xx

Congratulations!! I'm under the re current miscarriage and the lady told me not to take aspirin whilst trying... just my cyclogest after ovulation.

I have heard that aspirin is good for ttc but with her saying that to me didn't want to just do it. Just hoping I can catch a break this month and actually have a sticky bean 🙄

I fell pregnant the first cycle after a miscarriage/chemical at 5 weeks. Successful full term pregnancy. I think there is something in being more fertile after a miscarriage as we had been trying for months without conceiving before the miscarriage. Fingers crossed for you OP.
