Your experience with implantation bleeding

If you ever experienced IB what was it like? I think I may of mistaked my last period as implantation bleeding

I noticed it in 2 pregnancies. Both times, it was the tiniest pinky/yellow speck when wiping. Literally a 2mm dot and nothing on underwear nor anything on wiping again.
