Worried about lighter pregnancy test line after previous positive

Hi everyone

Im really anxious and an over tester due to previous losses.

I got a faint positive last Friday 3rd April with a clear blue early detection. Then yesterday 6th April in the afternoon tested again with Morrison’s own brand and got a really strong positive so I was thrilled.

Then this morning I tested again with Morrisons first morning urine expecting it to get even stronger but it my opinion it looks weaker and now I’m stressing out.

I have put image below. Top test is this morning, bottom test is yesterday afternoon. What does everyone think do I need to prepare myself for the worst? Has anyone had line progressions similar to this.

Thanks

They’re both clearly positive tests. Nothing here indicates you have anything to worry about

The bottom one is just dried out more. Absolutely no indicators of anything wrong.

Also.... testing so frequently is probably going to make you very frazzled. What made you think less than 24 hours later the test would be stronger this morning? HCG only doubles every 48-72 hours so you wouldn't see a difference in a test that was probably 18 or 19 hours apart?

To be honest I’m not really an expert and didn’t know it took 48 hours to double. I’m just really anxious and I think I need to stop testing as you said x

It's 48-72 hours and in early pregnancy the HCG levels are so small anyway a double isn't always a significant jump.

Your line is a very strong positive. When was the start of your LMP?

Honestly lots of people are serial testers and all its going to do is make you more anxious. You will only be satisfied for a moment and then start thinking about the next test... You are pregnant now, that's all you can control. Constant testing will eventually turn you insane. I say this from experience 😂

It was 24th Feb my cycles are really irregular though usually around 40 days!

That would make you 6weeks pregnant today in terms of medical dating but if you have longer then average cycles normally then your dating scan might out you back a few days to a week given you likely would have ovulated later.

But if you were super anxious you could book a private scan. They usually take you from 6 weeks.but maybe give it til next week if you wanted (just so you can see more given the late ovulation).
