Brown spotting at 8 weeks after exercise and worried after previous loss

Hi everyone

I'm just looking for some advice, experience from anyone really and to put my mind at ease.

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and started with brown spotting just once when wiping 2 days ago and yesterday its been on/off. I was experiencing lower cramps yesterday not painful enough to seek ER but everything has settled today but still spotting.
I did have a leg work out session at the gym 2 days ago and I informed the PT that I'm pregnant so the work out chnaged and it was only little weights..I'm wondering will pressure from say hack squats (no weights) will of brought this on. As this was the first time I had done this workout it wasn't difficult as I would of stopped but battled through it as that's the sort of person I am.

I had a missed miscarraige last year brown spotting started at 5 weeks with no pain and I was constantly told everything is fine. I had to push for an early scan and had this at 9 weeks to be told there was basically an empty sac that had stopped growing and it wasn't my fault.

So when this spotting started I'm just prepared and its sad but I've already accepted that it might be another loss. I have booked an early reassurance scan privately which is tomorrow, again I'm prepared for this.
I don't have my first check up with the midwife until I'm at least 10 weeks which is another 2 weeks away.

Any advice would be helpful good or bad

Thanks

It's such a horrible waiting game when this happens. I had spotting with a m/c but then again in the following pg due to a subchorionic haematoma. I broke down in tears in front of my midwife at a 10 week booking appointment and she sent me for an early scan where I saw a healthy pg and the source of the bleed. So sorry you are playing this waiting game.

Hi I’m sorry to hear of your previous loss, pregnancy after loss is a very anxious time.

Ive had two losses one miscarriage started itself and a missed miscarriage so i totally understand how worrying it can be.

My recent successful pregnancy(my little one is 7 weeks old 🥰) I had light pink brown spotting and a red clot at 6 weeks a few days…..I was devastated thinking I was having a 3rd loss but an early scan the next day showed us our beautiful little tiny bean with a heartbeat! There was no explanation for my bleeding and it only lasted two days and was very light.
Some bleeding doesn’t always mean bad but of course I’ve had it go both ways.

I wish you all the best for your private scan tomorrow….hope all is well ❤️xx

I’ve recently had spotting at 7 weeks and was very worried, had a scan at EPU and all was fine. A different scan then showed I had a subchorionic hematoma which probably caused the spotting. I’ve just had another incident of spotting at 10 weeks and thankfully scan showed all fine. I really hope your scan goes well and that everything is ok. Apparently spotting is pretty common in early pregnancy/ but that fact definitely doesn’t reduce the worry when it’s happening to you.

Thanks ladies.. unfortunately it wasn't good news fetal pole present but stopped growing at 5 weeks so another missed miscarraige.
Its ok though I had suspected and prepared so I'm already at peace with things.

Thank you so much for your replies it honestly meant such a lot
