hi

posted a while back about this as i have bought a kit and wanted to know if i could possibly do it myself as i have noone to help me. someone said that one company who supplies the kits also have a sudio where you cn get them to do the casts for you. I have found two places, rockabelly in kent and everlasting castings in london.

I have been trying to compare train prices to the two places and will try ringing them tomorrow for more info about location but in the meantime does anyone know which station in london is nearest to everlasting castings.

Also how heavy are the casts, apart from the possibility of funny looks from other passengers how will it be getting the cast home on public transport?

And so the kit i bought isnt wasted do you know if i can take my own kit and get some money knocked off the price of the professional session?

Probably best to phone the companies to ask them?

You can do it yourself. You need to apply a layer of vaseline to the skin first. And you may need a friend to help.

Really? Ah that's a shame. Any other kids - it's not technically hard, it's just you need to be able to reach - I did one a few years ago on my boobs (not for pregnancy - someone wanted a fancy dress costume with big boobs) and so long as you do it quick you can do it. But it's awfully heavy while setting so it's not great to do it alone.

i would also have to make sure children were all asleep and hope they stayed asleep, have 3 and eldest only 4, would be a problem if i had to leave off half way to see to them!

had really hoped i would find someone to help
