For anyone who has had an ectopic pregnancy (sorry to ask) what type of shoulder pain did you get (if any)? As in was it a sharp stabbing pain?

the shoulder pain is very specifically over/just below the point of the shoulder and is a sign of a ruptured ectopic with significant blood loss. If you think you have it you need to get urgent medical help.

I don’t have it I was just wondering what the sensation was so if I do feel anything I know what it is.

None at all-ruptured ectopic pregnancy

Very sharp stabbing pain at the point of my shoulder blade, they diagnosed me instantly and rushed me straight in for emergency surgery

None at all, but mine hadn't ruptured at any point.

Yes very sharp pain although I sometimes get similar if I eat the wrong foods.
I got really bad cramping, I couldn’t really move. I didn’t know I was pregnant but it was all consuming pain. Apparently half an hour longer and I would have died.
Really, really grateful I live in modern times in a bit of the world with a hospital 30 mins drive away.

none at all and had 2 ruptured losing both my tubes.

None at all.
Although by the point I was on the emergency waiting list, I was curled up in a ball of pain and off my face on morphine....
