Pre eclampsia 39 weeks & not being taken seriously by triage

I went into hospital last week (first time ever as I've been midwife led throughout) to discuss my homebirth assessment with the consultant. They did the usual BP, bloods and urine test there. BP was 157/98 and I had protein in my urine so they did a blood test which I was told showed I didn't have pre e so I was sent home. Keeping in mind I only had my midwife appointment the day previously and everything was fine. For the past week I've been getting protein in my urine in the 1+ range on the dip tests and I've started getting floating circles in my vision. I called triage and they said to wait until my midwife appointment tomorrow as my blood test came back clear so it couldn't be pre e, which I understand isn't always the case. I'm also getting extremely high levels of leukocytes and nitrates. Would I be ok to just turn up at the hospital or will I be turned away? Surely they can't just turn me away if I'm showing classic signs of pre e but then again I had a scare with my last pregnancy which ended up with an emergency induction at 37 weeks purely because my BP was slightly elevated the one time.

Was it a week ago that your blood pressure was last checked?

If so I would call them back and ask again to be seen today, say you are concerned and don't feel right. If you have developed new symptoms they should see you.

Ideally I wouldn't just turn up I think it's better to call. If you have no luck do you have a phone number for your midwife who might be able to see you today?

leukocytes & nitrites on a urine dip often mean a UTI so if that's new you need to speak to them about that at least.
