I have my 20 week scan on Monday, I'm a FTM but have experienced pregnancy loss and we also were TTC for 3 years. The past week I have stopped feeling my pregnancy symptoms of nausea etc. I still have not felt baby but know this is normal for a FTM at 19/20 weeks. But I cannot help feeling absolutely terrified for my 20 week scan!!! I am so scared that something is wrong

I reckon almost everyone feels this OP. It's totally normal. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about it except try to keep busy and take your mind off it. Good luck!

Similar background to you, so I can understand the fret. But just to reassure in some small way, weirdly right after I turned 20 weeks I started feeling baby move as though they knew the date had passed. And I didn’t feel pregnant at all, just felt totally normal! I get weekly scans due to high risks so didn’t have to wait for my 20 week one in the same way, but really best thing you can do is just count down the days and try keep distracted. It will come!

Similar background, partner and I booked the afternoon off work so we can either greive or celebrate.

But your symptoms sound perfectly normal, enjoy the drop off in nausea and baby will be kicking soon.

That was the most anxious point for me, I had a few early scans so then the wait from 12 weeks to 20 felt like an eternity! I also didn’t feel movement til about 22 weeks. Sending a reassuring hug!

Thank you all for your reassuring comments xx

Yes I can relate as can most pregnant woman. Especially after losses, it can be so nerve wracking. Very, very normal to not feel pregnant around 20 weeks. Most woman’s sickness will have gone, especially first baby you might not feel kicks for another few weeks xx

No advice really :( other than count down the days.
