UTI symptoms but no UTI in urine?

Been to GP and hospital regarding burning / stinging when weeing, back pain and frequent urination. Have been on antibiotics but my urine sample has just come back tested properly by hospital no signs of any infection at all in my urine.

Has anyone else had this? Feel like I’m going mad

What antibiotics were you on? The only reliable one for me is nitrofurantoin (brand name Macrobid) and I get it online, I think via Superdrug. UTIs are utterly miserable - it's so frustrating to be fobbed off.

I had similar to this and my samples also came back negative so I asked for a vaginal swab and that came back as thrush which I’ve unfortunately been trying to get rid of for the last 3 months🥲
might be worth asking for a swab to rule out thrush/BV?

I had a UTI for three months that never showed up on dip tests or cultures. When I eventually persuaded the GP to let me try antibiotics they worked immediately. I think the tests don’t pick up on all the possible infections. Maybe you could try a different antibiotic.
