Currently 21+4 weeks pregnant with my first little girl after 4 boys! But I am worrying myself sick!

She was measuring on the 7th centile at my 20 week scan but I have been booked in for another anatomy scan next Tuesday as they couldn't check everything.

My last pregnancy resulted in an emergency c section after a severe placental abruption at 26+3. It was very touch and go but thankfully he's now a happy almost 4 year old with an attitude!

I have been booked in for a growth scan at 26 weeks but until then I won't get to see a consultant.

I also have gestational diabetes and my blood sugars don't seem to be rising as much as they were which adds an extra worry.

I had growth scans with my last two pregnancies and with my last pregnancy, I was monitored closely and at one point I was told that I may have to have an injection to mature the baby lungs in case I had to be induced early. That was really worrying for me. It didn’t happen though thank goodness and I went full term and both my girls were born just fine. They are now 10 and 5.
sometimes I can’t help feeling that that they worry you for nothing. Good luck, I’m sure everything will be fine.

Thank you for replying, its really appreciated.

I have had growth scans previously and had two small babies but their growth didn't start slowing till further on in the pregnancy. So im even more worried with this one.
