Anyone else in the Midlands had their anti natal appointments cancelled?

I am 23 weeks pregnant and was due my first anti natal appointment on 26th feb which was cancelled the night before. They then messaged me to rebook for 3 weeks later (19th march) which again was cancelled the night before. Ive heard nothing yet about rebooking.

Worth noting, this is not my booking in or scan appointments, which ive had.

Have you been to see your GP?

Thanks for the reply. Ive not seen the gp, but had my booking in appointment, scans and first midwife appointment. Just seems odd to have them cancelled so last minute.

Is this at the doctors? My doctors is so busy and have no midwives, they can’t do my booking appointment till I’m 10+1, despite telling them at 5 weeks! I am in the Midlands (NWLeics, in case you’re the same)

No, the hospital, i am birmingham, its the new sandwell met. Its very frustrating! Surely maternity care is one thing they can't scrimp on.

So the farce continues, ive had two appointments booked in on friday 10 minutes apart in different locations! And if i cant split myself in two, i cant be seen until May for the one i can't attend!

I now know its a glucose tolerence test and a VBAC appointment.
