Bleeding during pregnancy 8 weeks

Just after some reassurance before I go insane.

I’m currently 8-9 weeks pregnant. I had a scan almost two weeks ago and there was a heart beat. About 5 days after this scan I started to have brown spotting, this gradually increased to more brown discharge/spotting coming out with mild cramps. It’s been happening for over a week now and it has progressed to actual blood. Not enough to fill a panty liner or even a pad, just when I wipe mainly, no clots and no pain currently. I have a scan tomorrow morning (they told me I needed to wait 2 weeks from my last scan). Just wondering if anyone has had similar or the same?

Yes, I had that all through pregnancy and the result is a bouncing 6ft 4 ,25 year old! Hope all is ok but as I understand it,it's very common. Fingers crossed for the scan x

I had several bleeds during my pregnancy from 8 weeks - 23 weeks. Each was investigated with scans etc but she is now an adult. I never had any pain and they cleared up within a few hours.

I'm also 8 weeks pregnant and had a bleed 2 nights ago. It was sudden and more than I would expect for a day of AF so I was worried but it stopped quickly and I was scanned by EPU the next day. They could see the bleed outside the sac and the sonographer said it's really common, could be caused by a number of things and likely won't be visible at 12-week NHS scan. She did say if my bleeding persisted I'd be monitored more closely but overall she was really reassuring. I hope your experience is similar
