pill, period & pregnancy insane question

bear with me is it possible to be on the pill, fall pregnent continue to have periods and not realise you are pregnent

the reason i ask this insane question is i am having flutterings in my pelvis like i did when i was in early pregnency with dd and am in need of reassurane i have not got caught!

of course it is possible

very , very, very unlikely, but possible as no contraception is 100 % effective

have you taken any antibiotics that might have interfered with the pill or had vomiting or a bad tummy?

you are most likely not pregnant if using contraception and having periods.

do a test to reassure yourself

I had those flutterings after giving birth to dd1. And had them even more after giving birth to dd2 - for months and months, when I obviously wasn't pregnant. Many women who have given birth experience this, it's something to do with changes to the nervous system and blood supply after giving birth.

Of course you can take a pregnancy test to be absolutely sure.

It is possible. But there's also some artery or other (don't remember the full details) that often produces fluttering-like sensations; you don't tend o notice it if you've never been pregnant but if you have it's very reminiscent of early baby flutters. It's far more likely to be that.
