Hi, this is my first time posting so please bear with me! On Friday the 13th of March I took a Sainsburys own brand pregnancy test which came back with a positive result (in the time frame) today Sunday the 15th of March I took a clear blue fast result test and this one is negative? I’m just very confused and not quite sure what to make of the situation. Was the first an Evap? Do I not have enough HCG for the Clear Blue tests to register? Thank you :)

I got negative pregnancy tests with Clearblue when I was actually 9 weeks pregnant with my daughter. The same when I was pregnant with my 3rd baby.
Apparently pink dye tests are better than blue dye.
If your first test showed positive within the timeframe, I'd imagine that you are pregnant.
Get another pink dye test and try again - good luck and I hope you get the result you want x

Thank you for replying! I’ve heard mixed reviews on both of these tests but more negative reviews for clear blue! I will get another red dye test tomorrow and try again to put my mind at rest 🥰 x

I'm past my pregnancy days now but Clearblue were definitely the worst I used. I found the best ones were actually those cheap red dye test strips that you can buy on Amazon. You also get multiple test strips and it's easier to see if one is an indent.
Good luck x

Are you testing early? Clear Blue are normally awful for evap lines. I got a strong evap line on one last year and wasn’t pregnant. The supermarket own brand ones aren’t normally that bad for them, but on the other hand theyre more unlikely to show result if you’re testing early. Clear blue are generally better for early testing.

But yeah try again with first urine of the morning and fingers crossed!

Hi, I think I am testing early yes. My last “period” was the 23rd-28th of February but it was a lot lighter and brown instead of red blood. The only reason I took a test is because I had a really funny turn on Friday, I went faint and really dizzy and have had awful headaches and nausea. I’m not sure on ovulation or anything like that as my periods are very irregular so it’s hard for me to track 🥰
