Pixel Pro infant carrier adaptors

Hi all.
So baby number 1 was born in 2023, I was very naive and didn't do that much research and bought a Cosatto Giggle travel system.
Knowing what I do now, I don't want to use the infant carrier for baby number 2 (due September this year).
I have done lots of research and think we are going to get the pixel pro, due to safety ratings and reviews.
My question is... I have read something about using maxi cosi adaptors and this should make it fit on the Cosatto travel system, as ideally would like to be able to clip infant carrier on the car seat.
Has anybody actually done this and can confirm that I can infact make the pixel pro fit on my Cosatto Giggle? And what are the actual adaptors please?

Also, am I jinxing things by ordering a new infant carrier when I'm only 14 weeks?

Babies should only be in a car seat for around 30 mins as a new born, 45 mins befire sitting and then 90 mins or so when mobile. following this i never see much reason for having the adaptors for prams! It might seem a faff but it is so much better for them to be out and lying flat as soon as they when young for a number of reasons (assfixiation risks, container syndrome, and general development). I dont mean this to sound so drastic, but i was the same with number one, had no idea about car seats, testing of them, time limits, correct fitting of baby in car seat etc and was great full to be educated for baby number two. I see photos of my first in their seat and it makes me cringe 🙈

Having said all this, i do believe the maxincosi ones work with the pixel pro from a car seat page I am part of 😊

As for the inxing thing, I dont personally belive in it, its lore just the space itll take up for longer and potentially missing out on a good deal later on in the year!

The Cosatto infant seats actually tend to do very well in crash testing - the Acorn actually has a better ADAC score than the Avionaut Pixel, so I would not worry too much about using it if you still have that one and were happy with it. I know there is a certain FB group which is very anti Cosatto as a brand, but at least in terms of their infant carriers, it's completely illogical.

If you want to use the Pixel instead, they will go on the standard Cosatto/Multibrand adapters, you don't have to buy new ones. I don't believe in "jinxing" but personally I'd hold on and keep an eye on the price as it is an expensive seat so over the next 6 months you're bound to see a sale. Easter, May bank holiday and July all tend to be common times for reductions.
