Is this normal for a bottle fed baby?

Hi! Had a weird experience today. Went to visit a friend who has a four month old baby, who has been exclusively bottle fed since birth. I’m pregnant myself, not sure if that makes a difference here.

But when I held the baby, she kept seeking for my breast. I have two kids who were breastfed, one for three years and the other for two years, so I know what this baby was doing.

but there were a few of us there and she only did it with me. She didn’t seek her own mother’s breast, nor our other friends who were there.

is this normal? Btw the others picked up on the baby doing it too, not just me.

Perhaps they could smell your milk?

Yes, it’s likely as you’re pregnant she could smell
the milk. She wouldn’t be seeking out her mothers breast as it wouldn’t have milk in now.

I’ve actually slightly started producing a tiny bit so maybe.
