6 week pregnant spotting and cramping heartbeat seen on scan, others experienced this?

I started spotting 2 days ago with some cramping, and today I’ve had an upset stomach. I had an ultrasound today which showed a heartbeat so that was reassuring but I’m still spotting. I go for my second blood draw tomorrow so I’ll have to wait until next week to find out any results.

I guess I’m just wondering if anyone’s been through the same? I bled with my first pregnancy at 14 weeks and that was a subchorionic haematoma but I think it’s too early right now.

Did they check your cervix? I had the same and it was a cervical ecroptian xx

Yes - I had this. They weren’t sure what caused the bleed but put it down to heavy implantation bleeding. My 18 month old is dashing around now healthy and happy. Funnily enough I’m pregnant again and didn’t bleed so no early pregnancy scans & feel more nervous this time having not seen baby yet! The wait to 12 weeks feels long. Wishing you lots of luck.
