Faint positives, bleeding and low hCG, then digital positive, anyone similar?

Hi all. Firstly I'm not asking anyone to diagnose me. I'm wanting to see if anyone has been in a simular situation.

So...
Last period 4/03/2026. Cycles vary from 33-35 days haven't a clue when i ovulated. So cd26 1/03/2026 I bleed a little, take a test faintest line. Cd27 it's bright red and clots. I take more tests faints yet again. Clearblue early digital reads not pregnant.

This bleed goes on for 5 days with multiple 'faint lines' so I head to EPU on 8/03/2025 they took a hcg blood and it came back 7! So my thought was miscarriage.
Today however 11/03/2026 I do a clear blue weeks indicator (after having lines on strip tests) it comes back as 1-2 weeks and the clear blue Cross one comes back clear.

I am beyond shocked,scared stressed. How would a digital come back pregnant if my hcg was 7 3 days ago and the last digital I tool was not pregnant. Has ANYONE been in this situation? I'm panicking now thinking maybe ectopic? Please share stories if this sounds like something you've been through. I have a blood test tomorrow again.

Could it possibly be a fresh pregnancy? I haven’t been in the same situation, and I don’t want to diagnose you, but I hope you don’t mind me saying, when I had an ectopic and got bloods taken they did behave erratically. Increasing a tiny bit, then big jump, then plateau, then decline. The thing is, hcg at 7 would have meant basically no longer pregnant. I think your best plan would be to contact epu and let them know your “line” (even though digi) is getting stronger again. Hopefully they could monitor your bloods a little longer and you’d get an answer. Is it possible it’s a fresh pregnancy?

Hi, thank you for replying. I had a repeat hcg this morning so the nurse will ring me later to see what the results are. I'm really thinking ectopic because I'm bleeding brown discharge now. Test are still all positive!
