Hi everyone,

I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant after two back to back miscarriages, so I’m so terrified that something is going to go wrong. Has anyone got any positive stories on having a healthy 3rd pregnancy after two losses?

I do also have pcos, but I ovulate naturally by myself and fall pregnant by myself too. But I seen online a few months ago that pcos is supposed to be linked to higher miscarriage rates??? Anyone know anymore about this from a doctor etc telling them?

Firstly, congratulations 🎉

I was fortunate and fell pregnant straight away after our miscarriage and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. It was constantly filled with anxiety through so I totally get you.
My friend had two miscarriages and was on the path to find out what was going on, she fell pregnant again and her baby is is now a year old.
Hope you get your happy ending 🩷

Ive had 3 miscarriages, i know it isny 2.
But i currently have my 4 month old asleep beside me right now.

Not all ptegnancies end in miscarriage, there will be so many people out there who has had their babies after 2 miscarriages. Just take it a day at a time and congratulations x

Hi @NeatGuide, I’m also 5 weeks after 2 MCs. So can’t speak for what’s next but completely understand the anxiety. Every little cramp makes me worried it’s happening all over again. I’m just trying to get through each day as I’m hoping with each week that passes I’ll feel more relaxed 🤞 Sending hugs, hope it’s a healthy pregnancy for you X

I’m on pregnancy no. three after two mcs (one mmc and one ectopic). Now in my 24th week :) ivf, not very easy for us to get pregnant but hopefully still reassuring to you!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 08/03/2026 19:10

I lost my first two babies but the third one is now 42 years old.
Good luck OP.
I know how scared you're feeling.

Sometimes it's just bad luck @NeatGuide. DS was born after two MC's. DS2 was born at 27 weeks (and was too unwell to survive) and after an MMC at 12 weeks. After DS2 I got pg v quickly and lost at 5 to 6 weeks. DD was born at term 51 weeks after DS2, pink, fat and screaming.

She's nearly 28.

Good luck Flowers

After one miscarriage, years of infertility and eventually IVF.... I am now 30 weeks pregnant. I can completely relate to the anxiety. Try to take one day at a time, and I found remaining myself of the stats helpful....its most likely that everything will be fine x I also repeated positive affirmations to myself, with one favourite being 'This is a different pregnancy, with a different outcome'. Wishing you lots of luck x

I needed to hear a positive story like this today. I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant, 10 weeks post miscarriage and a ball of anxiety

I'm wishing you all the luck. Have you spoken to your EPU about being prescribed progesterone? I’ve just started on it in the hope it’ll help this pregnancy hold.

TheBirdintheCave · 09/03/2026 20:49

I had three miscarriages in a row (also PCOS) but the pregnancy after that was a sticky bean and my daughter is now nearly two 🥰 The anxiety is absolutely crazy. I cried before every scan. You have to take it one day at a time. I have everything crossed for you ❤️

NeatGuide · 16/05/2026 15:20

Just thought I’d add an update onto this as I remember I could never find any updates when I was looking myself.

So after 2 miscarriages my pregnancy I was taking about on this is now is healthy and baby is growing beautifully! I’m now 15 weeks and found out I’m having a baby boy! Miracles and dreams really do come true after struggles. ❤️

I’m so pleased to see this update @NeatGuidehow wonderful. I’m 16 weeks pregnant after a loss, it’s hard, I understand how anxious you’d have been but hopefully you’re starting to feel like you can get excited now

Congratulations ❤️ and the stressing over the pregnancy drives you mad but it’s honestly so worth it. I am definitely a lot more chill now and managing to enjoy it. I hope you are too

I’m still up and down, went through a period of positivity after the 12 week scan, but now I’m nervous about my appointment on Wednesday now as I know we’ll be listening to the heartbeat

DefiantRabbit9 · 16/05/2026 21:57

Congratulations!

I lost my first baby with my husband before we even had the dating scan. My boss told me "as sad as that is we can't afford for you to have time off" after he asked me why I was crying at my desk. 3 months later on day 1 of my period I told him to F off and quit. On a whim I thought I 'looked pregnant' and it turns out I am. Literally conceived immediately after quitting.

We're on week 24 now with a little girl. I have 5 intermural fibroids but her brain, spine and heart are all looking great which doctors were worried about because of my epilepsy. She's moving regularly and is in the mid range size wise so far. I've loved every bit of my pregnancy, even the bad parts: the vomiting, the bleeding gums, the pain, the piles. None of it holds a candle to the psychological boost, my shiny glossy hair, my soft skin and the calming down of my seizures. Hell, my new boss told me I'd need to take a demotion and I just don't give a damn because I can get a new job when I'm done with maternity leave what really matters is I've got my family.
