Boots early false positive????

Hi I’m just wondering I took this test 2 days ago line showed up immediately and is very pink in person . Has anyone had a false positive from the boots early test or know if this looks like a true positive ???

There needs to be two lines to be positive. I only see one?

There’s only one line.

The single line showing is the "Control" line, which shows the test had worked. If it was positive, you'd see another line near the T (the Test line).

Pregnancy tests don't produce false positives except if you're on certain medications which raise HCG (some fertility drugs) and a few very rare conditions. If you get a positive but you're not on fertility drugs, it nearly always means conception has occurred. However, if that pregnancy doesn't progress then you'll go on to have a period. This is what some people call a "chemical pregnancy". It doesn't mean it was a false positive though; only that it ended vet quickly.

Sorry OP. I can only see the control line. Have you tested again since?

I would say that is positive... You can also see a second line ... All though it's pretty light on the first photo you posted... I would always advise to get a first response early result to confirm 🙂

Its depends, how long after the test was done did this line appear ? And is that when you took the photo?

I would gently say that is probably too light for the day before your period. They pick up at a stupid low HCG level and you should ideally be higher than that by this point. It would suggest late implantation or early failure. But keep hoping - I've seen weak positives turn into babies and stonking blazers of positives be miscarriages within days. The mindfuck of early motherhood.

I've just had the exact same happen to me with these!! Line came up within the 3 minutes, looked again out of disbelief after 5mins and disappeared!!!! Don't recommend these at all. I'm Currently 2 day late period

I was supposedly around 13dpo yesterday but I don’t track only going on what Flo says

Period was due on today but not come but having little bit of left sided twinges and tmi ……. I usually have less discharge when period is due however I have more today

I’m worrying now that it could be ectopic as I tested today using a 25mlu and got a faint line however yesterday there was nothing on the 25mlu only on the 10 one so that would suggest my hcg is still rising so idk what to do
