Scan

Has anyone else had a similar scan to this? With all my others they have been so clear, as in clearly see one baby and one baby only
with this scan it seems to look like two and before I even had this scan I had a weird introduction with the sonographer who assumed I was having twins... I walked in the room and the first sentence that came out of her mouth was "oh congrats, it's twins" i hadn't had any previous scans to say this?

I didn't think anything of my scan until I sent it to a friend and she thought it looked a bit odd and added her own bits to it.. eg head, arm, leg

I don't have another scan for a few weeks and I just need someone to tell me that it is actually only one not two 😂

Did you not ask the sonographer whether it was one or two babies? I have no experience at reading ultrasounds but I’d assume it’s the placenta. You’d have been told if it was twins!

your scan pic is at least 14 weeks or more and if there was more than one baby, they would have definitely spotted it by now.

The same friend who commented on this did not get told until her anatomy scan at 21 weeks that it was twins as it was completely missed.

She did say one baby but it was also a trainee doing the tests so I just really want to try and understand this double figure in the scan and the friend that commented on it was someone thay got told later down the line she was having twins
