Slightly raised BP-help/advice

I’m currently 27+5. The last couple of days I’ve had slightly raised BP: 139/74, 132/79. My usual BP is always 120/80 or under. I’ve also had some headaches off and on. I am high risk for pre eclampsia so have been on aspirin since 12 weeks. Any advice on what I should do? My BP isn’t stupid high and headaches aren’t horrifically bad but am just a little worried this could be the start of pre eclampsia but also don’t want to go to the assessment unit when in the grand scheme of things I’m not sure what they’d do for me for slightly elevated blood pressure. Any advice welcome. Thanks x

With the slightly elevated blood pressure and headaches I would contact triage for advice. They may want to monitor your blood pressure over a period of time and do bloods to ensure you don't have pre eclampsia. It is far better to be safe and get checked out or at least seek their advice as to whether they think you need to come in or get you a community midwife appointment tomorrow etc.

Edited to add that if they were concerned about your BP then there are medications that you can take.

Go to triage and get checked. They dont worry unless its consistently 140/90 or higher. They will check your urine for protein too and if its even the slightest bit positive have you do a 24 hour urinalysis. Better to be safe but have been in your position and just stressed myself into the blood pressure being higher.
