Am I high risk of miscarriage?

Had a 6week 5 day scan post ivf and the baby was measuring 3.6mm. Came back the following week at 7weeks 5 days and the baby is 6.1mm and heartbeat is faint. I’m now getting referred to the early pregnancy unit. The nurse said she’s not sure if the pregnancy will continue. I’m absolutely devastated

No one can say unfortunately. I find IVF clinics are more honest than EPUs so personally if the IVF clinic seem worried I’d be preparing myself for the worst. Obviously it’s not definitive and you’ll always find success stories online where people have measured small and it’s gone on to be fine. From my experience every time I’ve measured behind (including IVF) I’ve gone on to miscarry sadly.

When you get seen at the EPU chances are they’ll make you wait another week or two to confirm anything as well. I know it’s a lot of waiting but they normally need 2 separate scans before confirming anything.
