I’m currently 20+2 with my first and I’ve been having on and off cramping since 9 weeks but it’s starting to get more painful. It’s always felt like I’m just about to start my period, a mixture of sharp and dull ache pains, they last about 5-15 minutes at a time and pop up every few hours.

Everything’s been fine at my midwife appointment and scans and I figured it would just be my uterus stretching but the pain is getting more intense now when I get the cramps so I’m just wondering if it’s still normal?

No other worrying symptoms like bleeding or excess discharge or anything. Would just like to know if it’s something to worry about as my 20 week scan is on Saturday and I’m already a bit of edge with it.

It sounds like you are having Braxton hicks. But they shouldn’t be painful. Get yourself checked out.
