Bleeding 6 weeks pregnant after IVF

I’m 6 weeks pregnant after IVF. I’ve never been pregnant before. I haven’t had any symptoms apart from loss of appetite.
2 days ago I woke up really early to bright red bleeding with a small clot in the toilet bowl which stopped and didn’t fill a pad.
I rung my local EPU and they said it was too early to do anything but as my bleeding had stopped this was a good sign. I’m still testing everyday. I’m so scared. Has anyone had any experiences like this with positive outcomes?

Sorry I don’t have experience of this but I’m also 6 weeks pregnant after ivf. My clinic does a scan at 7 weeks, do you have a scan coming up?

I have a scan booked for 17th March so 2 weeks of unknown. I hope everything goes well with you.

I had some bleeding at 7 weeks and rang my fertility clinic and they moved my scan forward to the next day. Give them a call they might see you.

Sorry edited to add that all was fine and now have a healthy 7 week old.

Sorry it’s still 2 weeks away. I think I’d do what other poster suggested and call fertility clinic too and explain. It’s definitely a good sign the bleeding stopped. Hope it a good outcome for you.

I had something similar - bleeding lasted a few hours and passed a couple of big clots, all at six weeks. Was convinced the pregnancy had ended but my clinic did a blood test the following day and again a couple of days later, and all was fine. She's seven now!

I had this with my youngest. I had recurrent bleeding throughout the pregnancy, starting at 6 weeks, but baby made it.

I had this at 6 weeks. I paid for a private scan and all was ok. Hope you are ok OP. My bleeding was caused my a cervical and ecroptian. Your epu should really get you in now to rule that out x

With my daughter, FET, I bled HEAVY at 6 weeks, literally gushing out, huge clots etc. I was certain I'd lost her, had an early scan at EPU, she was fine. I then bled red daily until 10 weeks, then had another huge bleed, massive clots etc. Again, was sure I'd lost her, had another scan, and she was still there! No further bleeding after that and she is now 4 years old ❤️ xx

I had bleeding from weeks 4-8 of an IVF pregnancy, mainly spotting but some bright red, and a more substantial red bleed at 14 weeks, it was a subchorionic haematoma (common in ivf pregnancies). My clinic initially booked me in for a scan at 7 weeks but because I was so anxious about the bleeding, brought it forward to 6+1 where luckily could see a heartbeat and all was OK. He's now 2 weeks old and the rest of the pregnancy was uncomplicated. My EPU weren't too concerned by bleeding that didn't get heavier/wasn't accompanied by any pain, but only a scan can tell you what's happening so I'd try and get one asap
