Done Ovulation test out of curiosity and it looks like this? I no it's not positive but it isn't far off from being equal colour.. why would this happen. I have a 28 day cycle x

Have you tried a pregnancy test? The hormones sometimes mimic eachother

With a sensitive test lots of people get faint positives at 9/10dpo.

I've always had my positives show by 10dpo.

I once was trying to figure out ovulation and to track the line receding but it wouldn’t recede, I did end up having a positive preg test.

Everyone has varying levels of LH in their body all month. Sometimes ovulation sticks will appear darker than others. Unless it’s actually a positive result I wouldn’t read too much into it. Yes occasionally an ovulation test can show up positive when you’re pregnant. But it’s not MORE sensitive than a pregnancy test. So if a pregnancy test is not showing positive then an ovulation test wouldn’t detect it either. (If that was the case they’d just sell ovulation tests as pregnancy tests). Some women get a surge of LH just before their period. Some don’t. I’ve done tests with ovulation tests the levels of darkness go up and down all month. I’ve had almost positives close to my period quite often. Do a pregnancy test in a few days anyway if you want.
