TTC BABY NUMBER 2

Hi,
me& my partner have been trying for baby number 2 for the last few months, I had a c section with my daughter who is now 19 months it took us 6 weeks to fall pregnant with her (very lucky I know). I’ve been reading a lot of things about c section could leave you with secondary infertility??? I was not told this before I had my c section!!? Has anyone struggled falling pregnant after they’ve had previous c seconds please?

I am a massive worrier so would really appreciate it if people could help out!!

I didn’t struggle. Each time it took me three cycles. I started ttc number 2 ~12 months after my first csection and concieved when DS was 15 months old. So I have a 2yr (and 13 day) gap between them. Everything went smoothly.

I have a friend who also had a csection and then concieved within a few months of trying for her second. It took them 8 months to conceive the first time so they were quicker the second time.

Then I have a friend who had had a vaginal birth and it took them 9 months to conceive the second time (first time was very quick). Sometimes it can just take a while to conceive.

It took me 3 months to conceive Dd. We started trying 3 years after having an emergency c section with my DS.

Thank you ladies for commenting that’s reassuring! I also do have one more question, do you ever experience pain in your pelvic area when you are due on as in it hurts when walking ect? It’s not every month this happens tho? It’s really hard to explain. Xx
