Reading Pregnancy Tests

Hello, I’m starting to lose the plot slightly with testing!

I have had the attached appear twice when testing. A second line has appeared at the very edge/going underneath where it says “Max” on the strip. I can’t find anything conclusive on what this could mean. Both tests have come from different boxes of tests. The line has been vertical from top to bottom but I understand it isn’t in the right area. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks ☺️

I have those tests, seems to be a common issue with the really cheap ones. Doesn’t meant they don’t work.

That test is negative by the way.

Isn’t that just a weird line under the fold of the test? I’ve seen that happen before it’s just a random thing I think. I agree the test is negative. If not sure though use a digital to confirm.

Thank you. It’s all been very confusing! I’ve had two of these tests show up with a line where it should be in the T section, within the 5 mins, then disappear after around 5 minutes. Then a negative test, now this. Perhaps I’m not getting on well with this brand or should just be cautious with results

I think these are negative tests. As it’s under the paper area where the max line is this is where the dye starts before it is carried to the test and the control areas
