Are my waters trickling?

So I’m 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow and today I’ve felt very damp down there. I can see the tide marks in my knickers but it smells quite like semen with a mix of a tiny bit of wee. It’s clear but slight yellow tinge to it on the white knickers. I keep feeling like when on period when you can feel the liquid dripping or when you have lots of discharge but not like a flow as such. And when I move it feels like bubbles leaving my vagina. Could this be my waters? I’ve had no contractions

It could be.
Ring your midwife or hospital for advice.

With my first I went for a wee and the wee didn't stop. No gush, just a trickle like wee that I couldn't stop and wasn't doing. No contractions at this point. I was advised to get my hospital bag and head in when I called for advice.
Baby born within the following day.

Yes when mine started leaking with my third it was like this for a day and then there was a more obvious (but still not huge) leak. They didn’t go completely, but they still induced me 12 hours later as that was the policy where I was (France). In the UK I think they leave it a bit longer.

Forgot to say that with my first two my waters didn’t break until transition/pushing and even with my third the rest of the waters didn’t go until near the end. But you should def have it checked.

Pop a pad on, and have a look in an hour. Even if it’s a trickle it’ll be obvious. If you’re unsure the midwives at triage will want to see you to confirm and check you and baby are well

Yes, mine leaked with my second the night before I had a dramatic burst like my first.

Sounds like what happened to me. I went in and was admitted to the Birth Center, they tested the fluid and because it was amniotic fluid I had to go to the labour ward because they couldn’t work out how long it had been leaking for. If that’s the case with you, they want to put you on antibiotics and if labour doesn’t start, they might try to induce you within 24 hours.

I would get checked. You was like that with my 1st, mine was my waters leaking, they kept me in and hooked me up to an antibiotic drip as I’d been leaking for about 48 hours before I went in as there was a risk of infection and I was induced (I was 35 weeks). This wasn’t in the UK.

Pop a pad on and phone your maternity assessment team. They will probably ask you to come in and do a little swab test to see if it’s your waters, good luck!!! 💐
