Hi,
I've been feeling nauseous & cramping and sore boob's for over a week. Assumed it was the start of my period and was just late as my last few have been increasingly late.

Finally took a test yesterday and the positive came up crazy fast. Took another this morning and same thing. I think I'm 17dpo so very early. Are these level of symptoms normal ?
The nausea and cramping is awful 😭 I'm so worried somethings wrong. It's been a year of trying and it's our first so I don't really know what's usual.

Those symptoms are actually pretty standard for the first few weeks. I felt the exact same way early on and it’s mostly just the hormone surge hitting your system. Just try to stay hydrated and rest when you can.

Yep symptoms can hit like a sledgehammer around five weeks, getting worse until around 10 weeks when they tend to peak and then gradually decrease. By 20 weeks I was symptoms free with both pregnancies, but by then I was getting other symptoms like aches and needing to wee. There was never a sweet spot for me.

Mine started within days - back then, that was before the tests were even showing positive! Mostly felt nauseous and light headed.

Thank you all ! This is really reassuring 🩷 I can't imagine feeling more nauseous than I do now but I guess I better prepare myself 😭🤣
