Hi 👋🏻
found out last Friday I’d had a mmc at 6 weeks and had to the take the tablets.
the process was pretty quick and I’ve now stopped bleeding,
we have decided we want to try again,
how quickly is safe to try again?
and how quickly have you caught on after a miscarriage?
thank you x

I had a MMC last summer and I was told it was safe to try again straight away, although I was recommended to wait until I’d had one period in order to make dating more accurate. We did try again asap, and were lucky enough to get pregnant again after just one period, and I’m now 24 weeks. Good luck!

Hi Op,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a MMC. I had the same in December 2022, and we were told to wait until you’ve had at least one period before trying again. I think it’s to ensure dating, and to ensure no tissue remains. I completely understand the feeling of wanting to try again straight away though. MMC are devastating.

You’re apparently more fertile for the thee months following a miscarriage, so hopefully this will help you too.

Good luck and I hope you conceive again very soon!
