To book another scan or not...

Im so torn, I'm struggling with the wait (we all are i know!) I'm 10+3 today, and have my scan booked when ill be 12+2.
I had an early scan at 5+6 at EPU, then booked a private scan at 7+4.
I've had on and off spotting, brown/yellowish discharge (on progesterone) and the only symptoms I've had are exhaustion and sore boobs which are easing...

I want to book a scan this weekend, but I'm scared if it's bad news, I will need to instantly be mummy to my 4 year old daughter and hide my pain.
Whereas my scan on the 5th, we have the day off and she'll be at nursery so at least if it's bad I'll have a few hours to compose myself!

But at the same time...the wait is absolute torture.....
I know we're all going through the same so just ranting really.

Hope you're all coping better than me! Xx

If it helps you step away from the scan, you're technically not meant to scan more frequently than every two weeks anyway, so you're too close to your booked scan. X

You're symptoms are likely easing because you are 10-11 weeks.
Most of my symptoms wased up around 9-10 weeks.

Also progesterone is prone to irritating your cervix... have you tried rectal insertion?

This is what I was going to say. Scans change nothing, it's totally normal for symptoms to ease at that stage.

I am 16+4 and started spotting at 6 weeks, had a scan and everything was OK. I've bled on and off since then and at 13 weeks I woke to bright red blood dripping down by leg. With every bleed I get checked out via ultrasound and they can't find anything wrong and little man is dancing around thank goodness.
Im still having the occasional browny blood after my first wee in the morning but my midwife told me brown blood is better than red. Its never happened before and this is my 4th pregnancy.

Thanks all! I resisted the urge to book a scan... slightly regretting it now as the 5th feels like a lifetime away! But taking it day by day and however slowly, the time will pass...
My biggest issue is, I look like I've swallowed a bowling ball and even my baggy jumpers are struggling to hide it!

Bless you, i feel your pain! It's awful isn't it but that's fab news that you can see your baby dancing around!!
I had heavy bleeds with my daughter from weeks 6 - 10, so you think I'd be used to it... but the constant brown discharge on wiping is severely stressing me out!
Fingers crossed it all stops for you soon and you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! Xx
