Gestational diabetes in more than 2 pregnancy

Hi,
I was just wondering if there are any ladies on here who have had gestational diabetes in more than 2 of their pregnancies and if so what was the outcome at the end? Did it go away or have you been stuck with it?

I have had GD in my last two pregnancies but would love to have one more baby. I just want to know what experiences or outcomes some of you have had with this.

I had GD in 2 of my 3 pregnancies, not in the 1st one. I was 23 when I had my first GD pregnancy, this was with twins, they are now 20. I had another pregnancy 3 years ago, single baby, I was 40, GD pregnancy again. It went when I gave birth both times and has not come back so far

I had GD in my last two pregnancies and was insulin dependent in my last one. I was told that once you take insulin you would develop diabetes at some point. (Don’t know if that’s still the case)
Both times it went away at birth, had to stay in hospital for a few days so baby could be monitored and have a heel prick every 4 hrs.
A year later, I recognised the symptoms and I have been a well controlled diabetic for the past 25 yrs.

I had GD with all 3 of my pregnancies and was on insulin for all of them and induced early for the last two. GD went away straight after birth every time and has not returned so far (youngest DC is 11).

I do have a strong family history of diabetes though so fully expect to develop it at some point.

I didn’t have it with my first but have had it with my last two. Would love one more but wanted to know how many people have had it in more than two of their pregnancies.

I'm currently 17 weeks with 5th baby. Wasn't tested with my first, second baby I had GD, third I didnt have it and fourth I did.
I got diagnosed around 3 weeks ago for this pregnancy.

Always been fine as soon as I've given birth and just have the annual blood test to check for diabetes.

First time I had GD I was induced at 37 weeks as babies growth was dropping, not necessarily to do with the GD but they were cautious. Second time with GD I had my son early so can't say whether I would have been induced.
