Any tips to avoid first trimester nausea?

Hi mummies and mummies to be.

Does anybody have any tips to combat nausea that don’t involve eating non stop? I have not actually vomited at all, but I seem to have constant low level nausea unless I’m eating some stodgy like dry toast. The nausea then seems to return within about 30 minutes of my having stopped eating.

I’m only 7 weeks and already I’m in leggings and even they are feeling tight… I’ve not stepped on the scales but what with the constant eating - coupled with feeling too exhausted for the gym - I must have gained at least half a stone in the fortnight since I found out.

I obviously dont want to gain horrendous amounts of weight … does anybody have any tips to avoid nausea that doesn’t involve non-stop eating? This is my third pregnancy and I had nothing like this with either of my first two, and it’s starting to get me down.

Thank you

Boiled sweets, ice lollies, jelly

Moju ginger shots- buy them in Tesco or Sainsbury's. You can get a big bottle for about a fiver. Worth it! They're the best because they don't have Apple juice mixed in, just pure ginger.
