I suffered from HG throughout my pregnancy. Vomitting was controlled by ondansetron but I had consistent debilitating nausea for the whole 39 weeks. My menstrual cycle has recently returned 15 months post partum (delayed as still breastfeeding). I've ovulated twice and had 3 periods. A couple of days before each of my periods I've had really intense nausea. I never used to get that before I was pregnant.
Has anyone else experienced this? I wasn't expecting it because I thought the modern evidence shows that HG is caused by GDF15 hormone and not progesterone.
