Should I worry?

Hi everyone, so I am 4w+6 today and I did a clear blue digital to see if the weeks would progress which presumably they should have by now but I am still getting 1-2 weeks. Should I be worried?
My last menstrual cycle was 11th Jan and my periods do vary in length most cycles, so honestly I am not entirely sure when I ovulated as I didn’t get any obvious signs when usually I do and I wasn’t using OPKs at the time. Is it possible I ovulated later and that’s why? I’m full of so much anxiety, as my last pregnancy ended in a MC and I know it can’t be prevented but I at least wanted some reassurance. My GP won’t measure the HCG in my blood as they say it’s not something they routinely do during pregnancy. However I have been offered a dating scan within the next 3 weeks, this just seems so far away. I know I should just wait and be patient but my goodness my mind is in overdrive.
TIA :)

Honestly don’t worry, throw those tests the whole way out the window.
I spent stupid money on them waiting for the 2-3 week and then the 3+ weeks, I ended up booking a private scan for £75 and there it was, little bean flickering away.
I had a scan this morning and I’m 8+5 but by my LMP I should be 10+1, my dates were completely out.
You will worry because that’s normal but until told otherwise by a Doctor, you are pregnant ❤️

Totally agree with the above, with irregular periods you don’t know when you ovulated so it would be wasted worry. I totally understand that it’s pretty impossible to switch off that worry button after mc, but personally I’d only start to worry if I’d had 1-2 weeks for a few weeks in a row (and even then would have reasonable doubt about the tests). Good that you’ve got a scan booked in :) best of luck!

@xOliveI’ve spent an unhealthy amount on pregnancy tests this past week, because I’m fully expecting one to come back negative or for the lines to get lighter and just disappear. I might book myself an early scan, definitely would have been cheaper if I’d done that in the first place.
Thank you and congrats to you. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy.

I could have written this post! I am a day behind you but still at 1-2 weeks on the clear blue tests. Have you had many pregnancy symptoms? I also had a miscarriage at the end of last year so I’m feeling particularly anxious this time around as well. Fingers crossed for us both

@PolaroidmomentI’ve had all the pregnancy symptoms I swear. Exhaustion, sore breasts, nausea, headaches, backache, cramping on and off (previously had a c-section baby and was told more cramping is normal because of that?) what about you?

That sounds really encouraging! I’ve been exhausted but not much in the way of other symptoms which is quite different to my other pregnancies so I’m not sure that’s a good sign. I’m going to do another weeks test tomorrow morning, here’s hoping!

@PolaroidmomentI wouldn’t worry too much. I had no symptoms at all with my daughter until 9 weeks and was just morning sickness but other than that no symptoms whatsoever. I think I might too, good luck! Hopefully get that 2-3!
