Hi everyone. First time pregnancy here so everything has been a new experience. Im currently 8w 5d
My nausea has been on and off in waves. I feel nauseous a lot of the time but every now and then when it hits, it hits hard with vomiting and headaches and struggle with food. Has anyone else had this and how did you relieve it? At the moment the only thing that eases it is resting which means time off work 😕

I was okay in my first two pregnancies but this third one is so bad. I’ve been on Xonvea and also been working from home. If I move about a bit, such as a 5 mins walk, I feel a lot more nausea. In my previous pregnancy, I found orange juice was helpful but not this time. It’s probably a trial and error to see what makes you feel better. If it’s unbearable, then ask GL for meds. However one thing I would say is it’s better not to be on meds, as the side effects are equally unpleasant, it’s a matter of which one is worse… anyway, hold on there, usually it does get a bit better after 12weeka
