Has anyone had the glucose test

Yes in both pregnancies! Was totally fine both times for me, in my trust they add it to quite a big cup of water so the taste really was very weak

I didn't like fasting 🤣 but I'm a staunch breakfast asap eater. Blood tests fine. Drink was a bit grim but palatable. Make sure you've got something with you to do for the time in the waiting room, it is quite a long wait. It's helpful that you can have a bit of water!

Do you get your results on the same day?

I was told it would be tomorrow and I'd get a phonecall if there was a problem.

However, my NHS trust has an appointment, and they've just updated it now.
