Slow and low rising HCG - what was your experience?

Hi all,

Have used Mumsnet religiously for all of my pregnancies but never posted, but now i mow i need hivemind!

Delighted and surprised to discover at 39 that i was pregnant. Self referred to EPU due to what we thought was a chemical in Dec and three other early Chemicals in the preceding ten years.

So never doubled and last one was outside of the 66% threshold. Im 5w 3 days, they did a scan at 5 weeks and diagnosed a PuL. Now been told they will scan me at six weeks. It just feels so majorly unfair that i have to wait another week to be told what i feel is almost inevitable. How have others coped? Any success stories to share?

Are those 48h HCGs

They look on the low side of average but rising. Im not sure there is anything that can be done until a scan. Sorry, its a waiting game, but you aren't out of the race yet.

Yes taken 48hrs apart, the docs dont seem to have much hoe which i understand. Its just the wait to know which way everything is going

I had IVF so I worked off days past transfer but both of mine were low, first one about 11 days post transfer was 57.9 then 2 days later it was 120, everything so far has worked out and I'm 17 weeks tomorrow, best of luck, the waiting is horrible xx
