Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.
Yesterday morning I woke up and was cleaning, then felt my pants were really wet and it kept coming. I’m 37+4, so assumed that it could be my waters as there was no smell but or discharge and it was just waters.
I went through to pregnancy assessment unit and the test they did was negative so I was sent home. Throughout the day, it happened 4 more times where my pants were wet with the same fluid. I ended up going back through to the hospital where they performed the test again but this time with the speculum, the midwife said my cervix was closed and again the test was negative.
I’ve woken up this morning and once I’ve got up, my pants have became wet again. Same as yesterday, no smell or discharge. I’m 100% confident it isn’t wee.
What else could it be? It seems excessive to be discharge like the hospital have suggested 😩
I’ve attached a picture for reference.

What did they say it was?

I would wear a pad for a while OP to see what colour, exactly, it is.

Completely clear or with a red tinge tends to be amniotic fluid.

Hi! They didn’t really say what it was but said it could be an infection. I went back on the 8th & they tested and it was my waters so they acted as though it was my waters the day previously and broke my forewaters. Baby girl arrived shortly after that nice and safe. She had to get antibiotics for 36hrs but all is well & we’re home safe! I’m pleased I had trusted my gut x
