I use a tanning lotion on my face usually in the summer because I don't like to have actual sun damage (still wear sunscreen). I just used it yesterday without even thinking!! I haven't used it again and was only on my face... is it harmful during pregnancy? It's by Garnier.

I stopped using it because it made me nervous, but the doctor did tell me that it shouldn't affect the baby as it stays on the surface of your skin.

I still felt weird about it and didn't use it, but I'm sure one application on your face won't do any damage - only a tiny amount could possibly filter into your bloodstream, and even then the placenta is very good at filtering out toxins.

So if it makes you worried then stop using it, but don't worry about the baby
