Significant BBT drop at 7+1

Morning all, I wear an Oura ring and have been tracking since TTC. My BBT has always stayed elevated and spiked last week when I had a sinus infection which has now cleared up with antibiotics. But this morning I had a big sudden drop of over 0.1 and it has panicked me. I have no other worrying symptoms, I haven’t had much nausea and I didn’t with my previous pregnancy either, but no cramping or bleeding.

Has anyone else experienced this?

TIA x

Not identical as I wear an Apple watch instead of an oura ring, but I have had a lot of fluctuations in my wrist temperature throughout my pregnancy, starting just a couple of days after I tested positive when it went well below my base line for a few days! I freaked out but found a number of threads online with similar experiences and indicating that bbt/temperature doesn’t have particular significance during pregnancy on an ongoing basis when compared with the trends we’d expect to see during a menstrual cycle / conception.
I know it’s easier said than done when it’s still so early, but try not to worry too much about this! Best of luck with your pregnancy.

Thank you so much @ClaudesBiggestFan that is really helpful to know, I too read a few previous threads and I think that in the absence of other symptoms then a temperature variation is okay, plus Oura rings do adjust the baseline as well so that might have an impact. best wishes with your pregnancy too xx
