How soon do you get a planned date for c section?

due date is 7th April.
asked for elective c section.

is it 1 or 2 weeks before due date?

I am in England

It was within the 39th week for me, both times (2021 and 2025). One was 39+5, one was 39+4.

I had mine bang on 39 weeks. They tend to only go earlier than 39 weeks if there are issues or something indicating delivery needs to happen sooner

Mine was booked for my due date. I was told if I went into labour naturally before that, I could request an emergency section at the time.

You won’t get booked an elective c section before the 39th week unless there is a need for baby to come out sooner x
