When i was preg with DS i remember reading about not eating soft ice cream like you get from ice cream vans and other places, does anyone know if thats still the advice given as im always tempted to run out and get one when the van goes past but not sure if im allowed one?

Yep. Not supposed to have Mr Whippy but other ice cream is ok (except not homemade ones with raw egg in).

If you're in the market for ice-cream, can I suggest Carte D'Or Chocolate Inspirations? I'm tempted to name my baby after it, so intensely do I love the stuff...

oh second that judy Jones im on carte d'or strawberry and yoghurt delice....hmmm carte d'or...you cant have mr whippy due to the potential that equipment may not be cleaned thoroughly and risk of listeria... stick to carte d'or
