I’m currently 4 weeks pregnant after TTC for almost 18months - I currently have sharp left sided pain that does come and go never stopping me from doing stuff but feelings like a stitch sometimes and stabbing the next and dull like period pain and had two lots of very small brown spotting?

has anyone experienced this and it not be ectopic?🥲🥲

I’ve had sharp pain on the side I’ve ovulated and it was an irritated follicle from releasing the egg. Lasted for 5 hours or so. I did go & get it checked out at the time because was concerned about it being ectopic.

Mines lasted 5 days or so now - midwife said she won’t be able to see me until 6 weeks but I’m so worried🥲

Can you call the Early Pregnancy Unit?
Your midwife is being a bit blasee. It could be nothing and just pains where you ovulated since you're so early but it could.be ectopic and the sooner you are checked the better.

I called EPU today as I’m worried if I leave it much longer, they’ve booked me for Friday said they won’t be able to see much at this stage but to come in anyway. I’ve not got any bleeding, but I still have the dull one sided pain now wasn’t as sharp as it was but still there.

Hi, I'm having something similar! Im 6weeks tomorrow but from before I found out I was pregnant I have been having a lot of cramping at the lower left of my back and tummy. Its not sharp pains but it's constant for 2.5 weeks now. I finally called EPU today and they are going to see me on Sunday. They warned me that if I had any bleeding or sharp pains that I should call back or go to the emergency department but as it stands they think all will be ok, just better to check.
I hope you get seen soon and all is ok!!

Good call. Yes, it's not.about seeing the fetus development at this stage just where the sac is positioned. They should be able to see if it is incorrectly positioned at least.

But again, very likely it's just normal growing pains at this early stage

Yeah I know they can’t see anything I’d like like to make sure baby has implanted in the correct place and that these pains could just be implantation or just things getting ready - I had a previous csection so I’m unsure if it’s abit of that also? But fingers crossed all is ok! Thank you❤️

Hello,

Can I join in on this thread?

I am only 4 weeks 5 days and have had left sided aches with occasional sharp pains. Was seen in the EAPU today and had bloods taken as nothing was found on transvaginal scan. They confirmed i ovulated on my left side but im due to fly on the 8th Feb and so anxious incase its an EP. They have categorised me as having PUL and my hgc levels are at 1637 and due to go back on Friday for repeat bloods.
